If right now you find yourself in a place where you can’t even imagine your motherhood being described as joy-filled — lean in. Let me assure you: it absolutely can be.
I remember a time when I was deeply longing for another child, but the path to growing our family was not as smooth as I had hoped.
The heartache of multiple miscarriages weighed heavy, and the constant cycle of hope and loss took a toll. Between the emotional strain and the daily grind — cooking, cleaning, running kids to activities — I felt drained. I gave so much of myself, but never had enough for me. My mind was always in overdrive, and my cup was bone dry.
And I honestly couldn’t imagine things getting better anytime soon.
That evening, after yet another exhausting day, we sat down to watch some old family videos.
We laughed as we watched the kids as toddlers — so tiny, so cute.
And then a clip came on: my eldest, barely crawling, giggling on the grass while I crawled after him, goofily tackling him to the ground.
I watched that mama — full of life, playful, and so present — and tears welled up in my eyes.
I remembered how much joy I once found in the little moments... how I used to delight in cooking and playing and enjoying motherhood.
But as I sat there, I felt like I was watching a stranger.
The weight of secondary infertility, combined with the daily demands of raising young kids, had stolen that joy.
And deep down, I knew: I wanted her back.
I wanted my mama mojo back.
Soon after, I heard about an event focused on how to live a life of real joy and purpose — not just a long life, but an exceptional one.
Every part of me wanted to attend.
But... I hesitated.
I couldn't justify spending time or money on myself.
(Just a side note, mamas — when your cup is empty, you often don't make the decisions that would actually fill it.)
And then — as if the universe was conspiring for me — a ticket and accommodation unexpectedly became available.
With an open heart, I said yes.
That weekend opened my eyes.
I came home inspired — but more importantly, I came home determined to take action.
Instead of trying to overhaul my entire life at once, I created my own framework:
Each month, I’d focus on building just ONE positive habit.
One small, meaningful step at a time.
I knew that after a year, I would be twelve habits closer to the joy-filled motherhood I longed for.
And you know what?
It worked.
Not instantly — but steadily, surely, joy returned.
What I loved most was that these mindful moves didn’t add to my overwhelm — they reduced it.
I gave myself — and those around me — so much more grace.
I realized I could be a masterpiece and a work-in-progress at the same time.
Sure, there were still messy, crazy moments every day.
But now I had a plan.
And I had hope.
If you’ve ever looked at your life and thought you’d have more joy than you feel right now — you’re not alone.
And I’d love to share with you the framework, tools, and strategies that helped me find my mama mojo again...
Because you were made for a joy-filled motherhood too.
Over time, with the right tools and small shifts, my life started to look completely different. And yours can too.
I want to help!
Currently I’m probably sipping chai or enjoying my favourite walk — dreaming of ways we can all get from where we are…to where we want to be.
Want to know what lights me up?
Helping women harness the joy that they we’re created for.
Busting the myth of balance.
And shining a light on glorious truths that lead us back to a life that actually feels like our own.
If you’re new here, welcome.
I believe lasting change begins with a MAMA MINDSET — one that lets you stay on top of your to-dos without losing touch with the things that make your heart come alive.
Because you were never meant to run on empty.
We serve best when we give from overflow only — not from the tired, depleted cups we so often try to pour from.
And I can’t wait to show you exactly what that looks like.
